Impatica for PowerPoint Version 4 |
Impatica for PowerPoint is a software product that packages a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation into a file that can be viewed over the Internet without additional user software. Impatica files are much smaller than their PowerPoint counterparts, so can be played with little difficulty by students with slow Internet connections.
The process is manual and staff can generally narrate their PowerPoint and perform the Impatica conversion on any computer with the software installed. Audio input to the computer (normally via microphone/headset) is required to narrate the PowerPoint and best results are achieved in a quite area with little background noise.
Although designed with narrated PowerPoint presentations in mind, Impatica also makes web-friendly other media-enriched or large file-sized PowerPoint presentations. Impatica for PowerPoint supports most of the features of PowerPoint, including text, graphics, transitions, animation effects and, of course, narration.
