As an active participant in the broader ICT community IT Resources is involved in and supports the activities of a number of organisations beyond the immediate University community. Through these links IT Resources seeks to ensure that the University benefits from close relationships with leading global ICT practitioners and supports the ongoing development of ICT as a resource within teaching and learning and research.

 

Organisation

AARNet

Australia's Academic Research and Education Network

AARNet provides high-capacity Internet services to Ausralian education and research communities and their research partners and acts as an incubator for the development of advanced network infrastructure and applications.

 

CAUDIT

Council of Australian University Directors of Information Technology

CAUDIT promotes and advances the use and support of information technology in teaching and learning, research and administration in the Universities of Australia and New Zealand.

 

Educause

A non-profit organisation dedicated to the advancement of higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

 

AUC 

Apple University Consortium
The AUC enhances and increases computing technology on campus, provides low-cost computing to the University community and, in conjunction with Apple, further develops Apple products and shares experiences amongst other tertiary education institutions.
The AUC has 32 Member Universities including a number of Associate memberships including one in India.
The AUC operates a number of quality programs and initiatives that deliver many benefits to its members.
